Interstellar travel at speed of light


Based on calculation, the most promising energy source for charge shield ship to produce the charge shield by its own is by mean of hydrogen fusion, and only to the stable state of charge shield. Any further energized charge shield to increase its speed is not sustainable. This is because at this time the energy produced by the hydrogen in fusion is insufficient to cover the energy required at higher charge shield level, even only for the hydrogen mass itself.

Since we still want the ship to travel at speed of light, then the propeller concept is introduced as shown in Fig. 10 above, by assuming that the charge shield ship can produces its charge shield by externally energy too. This propeller is located at outer space near to earth. It is used for below function :


1) To hold the ship in place and to provide energy to this ship to produce charge shield for this ship up to stable level.


2) Then to further energize this ship’s charge shield up to extreme level.


3) Release the ship and the ship is now traveling at speed of light into space.

The calculation for the need to use the hydrogen fusion fuel is as shown below :


1) Referred to Fig. 11 above, 1kg of hydrogen in fusion produced 6.3 x 1014 J of energy.


2) Referring to previous example, the energy required to produce a stable state charge shield for 1kg of mass is

2.42 x 1012 J


3) The ratio of energy of hydrogen fusion produced to the energy required for charge shield of similar mass is

5) The above value is obtained by assuming that the energy efficiency is at 100% level. But in natural it is always hard to obtain. Assuming that the energy efficiency applied to a material to make it stable is similar to the extra energy applied to this material to make it from stable to unstable. Then we can assume that the energy efficiency applied to make a charge shield of stable state is at 35%.


6) Giving 35% efficiency, the new ratio value is

7) During journey into the space, this ship charge shield is provided by the propeller. For a safety return journey back to home, we need the ship to carry 2 times of hydrogen fuel. The reason is as below :


a) 1st time is for the ship to return home


b) 2nd time in case we miss the 1st attempt


c) 3rd time you die there, unless you can find water source around you and remember to process it to hydrogen fusion fuel to reduce ship load

9) This mean that, for every ton of hydrogen fusion fuel, it can support up to 45.5 tons of ship weight.


The return journey concept :


1) For the ship return journey, we expected the ship will travel at speed of light too, but this required a propeller station at the other side too.


2) To solve this problem, we need to find a planet that is having water.


3) Then the ship, bringing along with construction materials, propel at speed of light to this planet and start to build the propeller over there.


4) But the return journey will be at 1% speed of light.


5) Until the propeller is finished constructed, then both sides of the home and the planet ships will travel at speed of light back and forth.


6) The other way is for the ship to wait for other ships to come to continue for the propeller construction.


7) When this propeller is in operation, all the ships at this planet will able to travel back home at speed of light.
